photoOur Story
Due to the widening disconnect between children and nature, founders Jeremy Belot and wife, Kelly Aubin Belot, felt compelled to do something for their own children and neighborhood.  They wanted to find a way to raise environmentally conscious children.  To do so, they envisioned Tiny Green Trees with the mission of connecting children to their natural environment through creative play and exploratory activities.

To put their vision into practice, The Belot’s purchased a dilapidated bar just a block away from their current home and renovated it into a beautiful, sun-filled center for young children.  Further, the backyard was transformed into a natural playscape.  The community now has a vital resource in Tiny Green Trees, a center serving families who care about their children’s healthy growth and development in relationship to nature.

Jeremy Belot is currently the Project Manager for Layton Boulevard West Neighbor’s “Turn Key” renovation program. http://www.lbwn.org/development.html
