Milwaukee’s Tiny Green Trees Children’s Center offers environmentally friendly, nature-based childcare for up to 16 children of all religious and ethnic backgrounds between the ages of 6 weeks and 6 years old. Full day care from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. is available Monday – Friday, twelve months a year.
The center groups mixed-age children together to provide them the opportunity to grow up in a “family-style” environment that looks, acts and feels like home.
The curriculum is inspired by Waldorf, Reggio Emilia, and Montessori philosophies, with an emphasis on outdoor activities, environmental awareness, sustainable gardening and explorative art activities.
Tiny Green Trees serves organic fruits, vegetables, and meats as much as possible, avoiding ‘conventional’ chemical-laden, heavily processed foods. Teaching children the importance of healthy eating and understanding where food comes from improves their nutrition and instills better habits for life.
Tiny Green Trees takes pride in letting children be children in a life-based, eco-friendly environment that better prepares them for the years ahead.
